All parents have seen the stickers, “not for children under 3” or “Not for unattended children.” Likewise, we have all seen a product recall or two. These are all the byproduct of the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Federal law requires products to under go testing for safety. However, products for children under 12 are subject to much more stringent standards than adult products.
CPSC certifications evaluate everything down to product packaging, safety, and more. For a product to say that it is CPSC certified says quiet a bit.
